Our BU product series (historical designation for Buchanan) offers our aftermarket customers excellent quality fingers which, thanks to their geometry, are flexibly suited to several different OEM cutting systems. The BU series was originally produced as Buchanan Forged Steel Guards by Buchanan Steel Products Division at National Standard Company in Buchanan (MI) and Havana (IL), USA. This series, produced and highly popular in the USA, is still offered and produced on request, retaining the usual geometry, material and hardening processes.

The BU series continues to be developed further by Carl Sülberg following the takeover of the Havana operation and is subsequently Made in Germany.
